Greg A. Penning, CPA - Available at Algona and Bancroft offices
Greg joined the firm in 2002 and has more than 15 years of public accounting experience. He is responsible for individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax planning and preparation for clients in agriculture, construction, manufacturing, retail, and other various industries. He also assists clients with accounting, payroll, and consulting in many areas.
Greg graduated from the University of Northern Iowa and passed the CPA exam in the Spring of 1999.
He is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Iowa Society of CPAs. He has also been working with QuickBooks since 2000 and has been a member of the QuickBooks Professional AdvisorsSM Program since 2003.
In 2004, Jim Gage and Greg formed their partnership Jim Gage & Co., CPA's LLP. Greg purchased Jim's partnership interest in 2015 with Jim retiring in the fall of 2015.
Greg is involved in many church and community activities including being a member of the Algona Rotary Club since 2005 and serving as the 2011-2012 Algona Rotary Club President. He has also served on four area non-profit boards. His hobbies include golf and spending time outdoors in addition to enjoying time with his wife Michelle and two daughters Trysta and Tayler.
Julie R. Jensen, CPA - Bancroft office
Julie joined firm in 1992 and has more than 25 years of public accounting experience. She is responsible for individual, corporate, and partnership tax planning and preparation for clients in various industries and specialiing in farm taxes. She also assists clients with accounting and consulting in many areas and is in charge of compilation and exam engagements.
Julie has a BS degree in accounting from Mankato State University. She is also a member of the Iowa Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs.
Jule resides south of Elmore, Minnesota on her family farm just inside the Iowa border with her husband Darrin and three sons Derek, Drew, and Luke. She is active in her church and community.
Deb Doocy, EA - Bancroft office
Deb joined the firm in 1996 and is a member of the Bancroft professional staff. She is involved with all aspects of personal and business income tax planning and prepares individual, partnership, corporate and trust tax returns. Deb also provides payroll tax return preparation and bookkeeping services.
She graduated from Hamilton Business College with a degree in accounting. In 2005, she successfully passed the Enrolled Agent exam.
Deb lives in Bancroft with her husband Mike and they have three children. She enjoys volunteering for many church and community activities and is a member of the Bancroft Area Rotary Club since 2000, serves on the Bancroft Public Library board and the Bancroft Chamber of Commerce board. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping, golfing and reading.
Amy Walker, CPA - Algona office
Amy joined the firm in 2010 and has more than 5 years of public accounting experience. Amy's responsibilities include income tax preparation, Quickbooks accounting systems assistance, and preparation of compiled and reviewed financial statements.
Amy graduated Summa Cum Laude from Simpson College in 2009 with a triple-major in Accounting, Finance, & Spanish. She earned her CPA certification in December 2012 and is a member of the Iowa Society of CPAs.
Amy lives in Algona with her daughter, Kaylee. She is active in her church and other community activities. In her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with family and friends and being at the Lakes.

Kathy Blocker - Bancroft office
Kathy joined the company in 2000, taking a short leave and returning in October 2014 and is a member of the administrative staff in Algona.
She is responsible for the administrative duties including scheduling appointments, assembling the finished tax return, ordering all the supplies for both offices, billing and accounts receivables.
Kathy resides on the family farm with her husband, Mark, and their two daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading and golfing.
Eileen Vaske - Bancroft office
Eileen joined the firm in 2000 and is a member of the professional staff in the Bancroft office. She assists in preparing individual tax returns, payroll and sales tax returns as well as accounting. She is also in charge of preparing W-2s and 1099s.
Eileen has her AA college degree in business.
Eileen and her husband Roger live on their family farm South East of Bancroft and are engaged in farming including raising cattle and hogs. in her spare time she enjoys visiting with family and friends, reading, gardening, and attending hometown activities and events.
Brittney Looft - Bancroft office
Brittney joined the firm in June of 2010 and is a member of the professional staff in the Bancroft office. She assists in preparing individual tax returns, payroll and sales tax returns as well as accounting. Brittney is in charge of electronic filing all tax returns.
Brittney double-majored at Hawkeye Community College graduating with an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Accounting and an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree for an Administrative Assistant. She graduated with Phi Theta Kappa Honors and is still a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and IAAP (International Association of Administrative Professionals).
Brittney resides in rural Swea City with her husband, Matthew, and son, Brayden. She is an active volunteer for her church and community. Brittney also assists her husband in the operation of their automotive shop in Swea City, MB Auto Clinic, LLC. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, farming with her dad, and being the crew chief on her husband’s #9 Sport Mod (race car)!
Angie Davis - Algona office
Angie rejoined firm in October of 2015 and is a member of the professional staff in the Algona office. She specializes in accounting, payroll services, and income tax preparation.
Blair Bradley - Algona office
Blair joined firm in July of 2016 and is a member of the professional staff in the Algona office. He specializes in accounting, payroll services, and assistance with income tax preparation.
Blair graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2016 and is currently sitting for the CPA exam.
